Common questions

Cupcake liners
Liners keep cupcakes and muffins neat, stop them sticking and make them easy to carry; grease-resistant liners keep their colour after baking.

Do they need a tray?
Place them in a muffin tray so they hold their shape while baking.

How full should they be?
About two-thirds, so cupcakes rise to the top without spilling.

Can they go in the oven?
Yes, paper baking cups are made for the oven.

Why do liners peel away?
Usually steam trapped as cupcakes cool; take them out of the tray a few minutes after baking and cool them on a rack.
