Catering and Buffet Supplies Supplier in the UAE

Catering is where tableware has to travel, hold heat, survive a loading bay and come back washable. Bait Al Diafa supplies catering and buffet equipment and consumables across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE from our warehouse in Al Sharq, Sharjah: chafing dishes, food wells, beverage dispensers, insulated carriers, service trays, GN service pans, melamine for events and the tabletop that goes around them.

Send us the event schedule, the guest numbers or the standing list a caterer works from every month, and we will match it. Send us your catering list.

What we supply

  • Chafing dishes — round and rectangular, with fuel holders and glass lids, for hot service at a buffet line. See chafing dishes.
  • Food wells, salad bars and beverage dispensers for cold service and self-service lines. See salad bars and food wells.
  • Beverage dispensers and urns for tea, water, juice and coffee at volume. See beverage dispensers and urns.
  • Insulated food carriers and bags for transport and service, so hot food arrives hot and cold food arrives cold. See insulated food carriers.
  • GN service pans and lids — the standard catering vessel, since it stacks, transports and fits every buffet well. See GN containers and our GN pan sizes guide.
  • Serving platters, bowls and utensils for presenting food. See serveware and platters.
  • Melamine dinnerware for events, outdoor service and anywhere tableware gets handled a lot. See melamine dinnerware.
  • Non-skid service trays and trolleys for carrying a table or a room's worth of covers at once. See service trays and service trolleys.
  • Disposable service items that caterers use alongside — napkins, foodservice tissue, covers, gloves and aprons, and compliant takeaway packaging. See napkins.
  • Bar and coffee service for events that serve drinks. See bar and coffee supplies.

Fitting out a catering operation

  • Decide the service style first. Plated service, buffet, family-style or drop-off changes everything downstream. A buffet needs wells, chafers, platters and stackable pans; a plated service needs covers, trays and a plate-up area instead.
  • Build around a single vessel standard. If the kitchen plates onto GN pans, the pans go straight from the combi to the chafing dish to the insulated carrier without a single transfer into another container. That is why the gastronorm standard matters for catering.
  • Count the transport, not the event. How many loads go out, how many trips each vehicle makes, and how long food sits before service decide how many carriers and pans you need — not the guest count alone.
  • Specify melamine for events and porcelain for plated hotel service. Melamine survives a loading bay; porcelain presents food and goes straight into a hotel dishwasher.
  • Pack for the wash. Everything you send out has to come back and be washed at speed, and a basket size that matches your dishwasher is worth more than extra pans.
  • Hold spares. A missing lid, a fuel holder or a spoon at 7am on a Saturday is what turns a smooth service into a phone call. Keep a small service kit with each piece of equipment.

For contract caterers and facility management

Catering contractors and facility management companies run the same operation every day across several sites, so they buy against a standing list rather than an event list. We supply on that basis: send your standard equipment list once, and the consumables that go with it, and we will keep them moving on your cycle. See our wholesale and trade supply service for resellers, hotel suppliers and procurement teams.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy catering and buffet supplies in Dubai?

Bait Al Diafa supplies catering and buffet equipment from its warehouse in Al Sharq, Sharjah, with delivery to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and all seven emirates. The range covers chafing dishes, food wells, beverage dispensers, insulated carriers, GN pans, melamine, trays and the tabletop around them.

What equipment do I need for a buffet line?

Chafing dishes or food wells for hot and cold service, platters and serving utensils, beverage dispensers for drinks, stackable pans to fill the wells from, and trays and trolleys to build and clear the line. See buffet and catering equipment.

Can I use GN pans for catering instead of china plates?

Yes, and for anything served buffet-style or transported, GN pans are usually the better answer: they stack, transport, keep heat and go straight from the kitchen to the service line.

Do you supply melamine for events and outdoor catering?

Yes. Melamine dinnerware is the usual choice for events, outdoor areas and any service where tableware is carried and stacked, because it is far more forgiving than porcelain.

Do you supply insulated food carriers and bags?

Yes, for keeping food at temperature in transit, whether the run is five minutes or five hours. See insulated food carriers and bags.

Do you deliver catering supplies outside Sharjah?

Yes, to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, as well as throughout Sharjah. Trade buyers can also collect from our warehouse in Al Sharq.
