Common questions

Cookie and fondant cutters
Cutters give every cookie, fondant plaque and sugar decoration the same shape, and plunger cutters cut and emboss in one press. Metal cutters have a sharper edge; plastic cutters are safe for children and detailed shapes.

How is it used?
Roll the dough or fondant to an even thickness, dip the cutter in flour or cornflour, press straight down and lift.

How is it cleaned?
Wash in warm soapy water and dry at once; metal cutters rust if left wet.

Can it be used on fondant and dough?
Yes, on cookie dough, fondant, marzipan and gum paste.

How should it be stored?
Dry, nested by size, so edges stay true and metal cutters do not rust.
