Common questions
Gravity-fed or pump-fed soft serve?
Gravity-fed machines let mix fall into the freezing cylinder under its own weight. They are simpler, with fewer parts to clean each night, but give lower overrun. Pump-fed machines force air into the mix for higher overrun, which means lighter product and more servings per litre, at the cost of more cleaning. Choose pump-fed for volume and gravity for simplicity.
