Common questions
Rotary floor machines
Low-speed rotary machines (around 150 to 200 rpm) scrub, strip, shampoo carpets and crystallise marble; weighted machines press harder for stone work; high-speed burnishers spin at 1,000 rpm and more to bring up a gloss. Orbital machines strip and clean with little or no chemical. Brushes and pads fit on a drive plate of the same diameter.
Which machine does it fit?
Rotary machines with the matching size and clutch plate; check the model code against your machine.
What is a pad driver for?
It holds floor pads on the machine; the hook face grips the pad so it spins without slipping.
How is it looked after?
Rinse brushes and drivers after use and hang them to dry so bristles and hook faces keep their shape.
