Common questions

Why use a tamping mat?
It protects the portafilter and counter from scratches and impact, and gives a stable, non-slip surface for tamping.

How do I clean silicone?
Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Dry before reuse. Silicone does not hold on to odours or stain easily.

Will it stay in place?
The silicone grips the surface, but keep the counter dry underneath so the mat does not slide.
