Common questions

Thermal coffee servers
Vacuum-insulated airpots and servers keep brewed coffee and tea hot for hours without a hotplate, so it does not stew or burn.

How long does it keep coffee hot?
Several hours; preheat it with hot water first and keep the lid closed.

Can it go on a hob?
No; vacuum servers must never be heated directly.

How is it cleaned?
Rinse after use and descale now and then; do not immerse the pump or put it in the dishwasher unless the maker allows.
