Common questions
Housekeeping and laundry trolleys
Housekeeping trolleys carry linen, amenities, cleaning chemicals and a waste bag on one cart, so room attendants service a whole floor without trips to the store; laundry trolleys move soiled and clean linen between rooms and the laundry.
How is it cleaned?
Empty it, wipe the frame and shelves with a mild detergent and dry them; wash or replace bags when soiled.
Should clean and soiled linen share a trolley?
No; keep clean and soiled linen apart, on separate trolleys or in separate bags, for hygiene.
How is it maintained?
Check the wheels regularly and clear thread and hair from the axles so it rolls quietly.
