Common questions

Laundry trolleys in hotels and hospitals
Laundry trolleys move soiled and clean linen between rooms, floors and the laundry. Keep separate trolleys, or separate bags, for clean and used linen so the two never touch; X-frame carts fold away when empty, and rectangular carts take the biggest loads.

Why keep clean and used linen apart?
Used linen carries germs; separate trolleys or bags stop them transferring to clean linen.

How is it cleaned?
Wipe the frame with disinfectant and wash the bag regularly.

Which trolley shape?
X-frame carts fold flat when empty; rectangular carts take the largest loads and stack linen neatly.
