Knock boxes
A knock box takes spent espresso pucks with one tap on the bar; a rubber bar and a solid base keep it quiet and steady.
How is it emptied?
Tip the pucks into the bin or compost at the end of service and rinse the box.
Can the bar be replaced?
Many knock boxes have a removable bar that can be swapped when worn.
Where should it sit?
Beside the grinder and machine on a stable surface.
