Common questions

How does gastronorm sizing work?
GN 1/1 is 530 x 325 mm, the standard that ovens, bain-maries, chillers and trolleys are built around. Fractions divide it: two 1/2s, three 1/3s, four 1/4s, six 1/6s or nine 1/9s fill one 1/1 opening. Depth is quoted separately, which is why the same fraction comes in 20, 40, 65, 100 and 150 mm. Mix fractions freely within one opening.

Which depth is this?
is 6.5 cm; KP-031 is 10 cm.

Is it for hot food?
Standard PP is for cold and ambient use.

Does it fit GN openings?
Yes.

Are lids available?
Check matching GN 1/3 lids.
