A Jiwins transparent polycarbonate food storage container supplied without a lid, in six sizes from 2 to 18 litres. Polycarbonate is genuinely clear rather than translucent, so stock levels are readable at a glance — the practical reason kitchens choose it over polypropylene for dry stores.

Who it suits

For dry stores and prep areas holding flour, sugar, rice, pulses and decanted ingredients. Note the lid is not included — order lids alongside, since an uncovered container in a store room is both a hygiene finding and an invitation to pests. Avoid abrasive cleaning, which clouds polycarbonate and defeats the visibility you paid for.

Common questions

Is a lid included?
No, lids are sold separately. Order them alongside, since uncovered dry goods will not pass a hygiene inspection.

Why polycarbonate rather than polypropylene?
PC is genuinely transparent, so levels and contents are readable without opening. PP is lighter but translucent at best.

How should it be cleaned?
Non-abrasive cloths and detergent only. Scouring pads scratch polycarbonate and clouded containers lose their main advantage.

Which size for a dry store?
12 and 18 litre containers suit bulk flour and rice; 2 to 6 litre sizes suit sugars, pulses and smaller decanted items.
