ICE MAKER 270 KG WITH BIN

A Manitowoc ice maker producing 270 kg per day with an integrated 241 kg storage bin, forming 22 mm cubes under an easy-touch display. Production and storage are separate numbers and both matter: the machine makes 270 kg over 24 hours, but the bin only holds 241 kg, so peak demand draws down a buffer that refills through quieter hours.

Who it suits

Sized for hotels, busy bars and restaurants with sustained ice demand through the day. Ice sizing in the UAE deserves care: ambient heat and water temperature both cut real output below the rated figure, and ice melts faster in service here than the rating assumes. If demand is concentrated into a short evening peak, storage capacity matters more than daily production.

Common questions

Is the rated production realistic in the UAE?
Rated output assumes specified ambient and water temperatures. In hot conditions real production falls, so size with headroom rather than to the exact rated figure.

What is the difference between production and storage?
Production is what it makes over 24 hours; storage is what the bin holds at once. A sharp evening peak draws on storage faster than production can replace it.

What size are the cubes?
22 mm cubes, a medium size that suits both bar drinks and general service.

What does demo item mean?
It has been out of carton for display rather than in service. Confirm condition and warranty terms before purchase.
