Common questions

Floor and surface cleaning chemicals
Neutral cleaners are for daily mopping of sealed floors and surfaces; alkaline degreasers cut heavy soil; acid products remove limescale; strippers and polymer finishes are for periodic floor restoration. Use the mildest product that does the job, dilute it as directed, and rinse where the label says to.

How much do I dilute it?
The maker's dilution is 0.5 - 1%: the stronger end for heavy soiling, the weaker for routine cleaning. Measure it; more product does not clean better and leaves residue.

How is it used?
Dilute in a mop bucket as directed, mop and leave to dry; no rinsing is needed for routine cleaning unless the label says so.

Is it safe on marble?
Use pH-neutral cleaners on marble and natural stone; check the label before using stronger products.

How should it be stored?
Closed, upright, out of direct sun and out of reach of children, in its original labelled container.
