Common questions

Griddles
A griddle cooks burgers, eggs, pancakes and flatbreads on a flat plate; smooth plates suit eggs and pancakes, ribbed sections give grill marks, and chrome plates hold heat and are easier to clean.

What connection does it need?
A gas supply fitted by a certified installer, under a ventilated extraction hood; confirm LPG or natural gas when ordering so the jets match. The maker rates it at 60,000 BTU.

Smooth, ribbed or chrome?
Smooth for eggs and pancakes, ribbed for grill marks on meat, chrome for fast cleaning and less heat in the kitchen.

How is the plate cleaned?
Scrape it while warm, then wipe with a griddle cleaner; season steel plates with a thin film of oil.

How is it maintained?
Clean it daily as the manual sets out and book preventive servicing, which keeps it efficient and protects the warranty.
