GAS COOKING RANGE 6 BURNER WITH GAS CONVECTION OVEN

An Angelopo six-burner gas range with a gas convection oven taking 3 x GN 2/1 and a cabinet, at 6 kW for the oven and 40 kW total gas, with only a 50 W, 230 V connection for the fan, at 1200 x 720 x 900 mm and 180 kg. A fan-assisted gas oven gives more even heat than a static gas oven, which is the usual weak point of gas ovens.

For restaurants wanting six burners and an even-baking gas oven without three-phase power. The fan needs only a standard socket. At 720 mm deep it sits in the shallower range standard.

Common questions

What should I check on a gas range?
Three things before the burner count. First, the total gas rating, which sets your gas supply and extraction. Second, the depth: 700-series ranges are around 730 mm deep and 900-series around 900 mm, and the two do not line up in one cooking suite. Third, flame-failure protection, which cuts the gas if a flame goes out.

Why a convection gas oven?
The fan evens out heat, avoiding the hot and cold spots of a static gas oven.

What electrical supply is needed?
Only 50 W at 230 V to run the fan.

How much does the oven hold?
3 x GN 2/1.

What gas supply is needed?
40 kW in total.
