Common questions
Warewashing racks and front-of-house kit
Glass racks wash, store and carry glasses in one rack, so each glass is handled once; extenders raise the rack for taller glasses; plate and cutlery racks fit the same 50 x 50 cm dishwasher size. A dolly moves a stack of racks without lifting.
How does it work?
UV light attracts flying insects onto a glue board, which catches them quietly without scattering fragments over food.
Where should it be placed?
Away from food prep areas and out of sight of outside windows, so it does not draw insects in.
How often is the glue board changed?
When it is full, or monthly; UV tubes are usually replaced yearly.
