Who it suits
For kitchens, wash-down areas and wet rooms clearing water after cleaning, where a wide blade covers ground fast. Foam rubber conforms to slightly uneven floors better than a solid blade. Confined spaces and areas around fitted equipment are easier with the narrower 45 cm version.
Common questions
Why foam rubber rather than solid?
Foam conforms to minor floor unevenness, so it maintains contact and clears water where a rigid blade would bridge a dip.
Is 55 cm too wide for a kitchen?
On open floor it clears faster. Around fitted equipment and in confined spaces, 45 cm is easier to manoeuvre.
Does the handle come with it?
This configuration is supplied with an aluminium handle. Confirm the fitting matches if you are buying heads separately.
Which colour for food areas?
Green is the usual convention for kitchen and food-preparation zones.
