Common questions
Storing coffee beans
Coffee stays fresh longest away from air, light, heat and moisture. An airtight container slows staling; buy what you will use in a few weeks and keep it out of the sun.
Should beans go in the fridge?
No; fridges add moisture and odours. Keep beans airtight at room temperature, away from heat and light.
How long do beans stay fresh?
Best within a few weeks of roasting once opened; grind just before brewing.
How is it cleaned?
Wash and dry it fully between batches so old coffee oils do not taint new beans.
