Common questions

Cotton, microfibre, flat or dust control?
Cotton mops hold the most water and suit big spills, rough floors and kitchens. Microfibre lifts fine dirt and bacteria with less water and chemical and leaves floors drier. Flat frame mops cover large smooth floors quickly and let staff fit a fresh pad for each room. Dust control mops are used dry to trap sand and dust before wet mopping.

Which mop heads fit?
Heads of the same system and width: clip holders take cotton and Kentucky heads, velcro and pocket frames take flat microfibre pads.

Which handle does it take?
A standard broom handle that fits its socket; our Handles range has threaded aluminium, steel and wooden poles.

Why use a frame system?
Staff swap to a clean head for each room or zone, which is the basis of colour-coded cleaning in hotels and hospitals.
