Common questions

Teapots, dallahs and coffee pots
Choose the pot by how many cups it serves at once; insulated or stainless pots keep drinks hot for longer on busy service, and porcelain and glass pots suit table service.

How is copper or brass kept bright?
Hand-wash, dry straight away and polish with a metal polish when it tarnishes.

How is it cleaned?
Rinse after each use and remove tea or coffee stains with warm water and a little bicarbonate of soda.

How many cups does it serve?
Size the pot to the table: small pots for two, large pots for majlis service.
