Common questions

Food storage and serving containers
Airtight containers keep dry goods, leftovers and prep fresh; clear containers show what is inside; label and date everything in commercial kitchens. Acrylic and glass jars also serve sweets and dry snacks on display.

How is it cleaned?
Warm soapy water, or the dishwasher where the maker allows it; avoid abrasive pads, which scratch plastic.

How should food be stored?
Label and date the contents, cool food before sealing, and keep raw and ready-to-eat food apart.

Can it go in the dishwasher?
Hand-wash it unless the maker lists it as dishwasher-safe.
