Common questions

Trays and serving boards
Trays carry food and drinks from kitchen to table and hold displays on the buffet; non-slip surfaces help with drinks, and acrylic, steel and wood each suit a different look.

What is it used for?
Buffet lines, carving and large sharing displays.

How is acrylic cleaned?
With warm soapy water and a soft cloth; abrasive pads and alcohol-based cleaners scratch or cloud it. Acrylic is for serving and display, not hot food or the microwave.

How should food be arranged?
Leave space around each item and refill from the kitchen rather than piling high; smaller trays refilled often look fresher.

Is it for hot or cold food?
Steel, porcelain and melamine take hot food at serving temperatures; acrylic and wood are for cold food and display.
