Common questions

Coated cutlery
Black matt cutlery gives a modern table a bold look; the coating needs gentler care than plain stainless steel.

Can it go in the dishwasher?
Hand-wash or use a gentle programme with mild detergent; harsh chemicals and abrasives wear the coating.

How should it be stored?
Dry, in a cutlery tray, so pieces do not scratch each other.

Where is it used?
Restaurant tables, cafés, hotel dining rooms and events.

How should new cutlery be prepared?
Wash it before first use.

Will the colour last?
With gentle washing and no abrasives the finish lasts through daily service; harsh detergents and scouring wear it.
