Common questions

Long-handled or hand dustpan?
Long-handled lobby dustpans let staff sweep up without bending, which is quicker and kinder to backs in lobbies, restaurants and malls. Hand dustpans and brushes suit desks, tables, shelves and small spills. Wheeled dustpans with a bin carry a full load of litter across a site.

Why a long handle?
Staff sweep up standing, which is faster and easier on the back, and the pan stays upright between uses.

How is it cleaned?
Tap the bristles out over a bin and wash the pan and brush in warm soapy water; let them dry before storing.

Metal or plastic?
Metal dustpans are rigid with a thin edge that picks up fine dust; plastic ones are light, quiet and rust-proof.
