Common questions
Floor wipers in UAE kitchens and washrooms
Most commercial kitchens, washrooms and car washes here have floor drains, and a floor wiper is the quickest way to push water to them after washing down. Double rubber blades dry in one pass; metal frames are stiffer for heavy water and outdoor use, while plastic frames are light, rust-proof and easy to keep hygienic in food areas.
Which handle does it take?
A standard broom handle that fits its socket; our Handles range has threaded aluminium, steel and wooden poles.
Is 41 cm the right width?
Up to about 45 cm suits washrooms, showers and small kitchens; 55 cm and wider clears large kitchens, car parks and loading bays in fewer passes.
How is it looked after?
Rinse the rubber after use and hang it up so the blade stays straight; a nicked blade leaves stripes of water.
