Common questions

Choosing a cleaning bucket
Size the bucket to the job: 4 to 10 litres for spot cleaning and cloths, 12 to 20 litres for a room or corridor, and a wringer trolley for large floors. A two-compartment bucket keeps clean solution apart from dirty rinse water, and colour-coded buckets stop washroom water being used in the kitchen.

Which bucket set does it fit?
The matching spin or flat mop set of the same range; check the model code on your set.

How should microfibre be washed?
At up to 60 °C without fabric softener or bleach, which clog and weaken the fibres. Wash it apart from cotton so it does not pick up lint, and dry it fully before storing.

Why colour-code cleaning tools?
A different colour for toilets, washbasins, general areas and food areas stops germs moving between them. A common scheme is red for toilets, yellow for washbasins, blue for general areas and green for food areas.
