Common questions

Cotton, microfibre, flat or dust control?
Cotton mops hold the most water and suit big spills, rough floors and kitchens. Microfibre lifts fine dirt and bacteria with less water and chemical and leaves floors drier. Flat frame mops cover large smooth floors quickly and let staff fit a fresh pad for each room. Dust control mops are used dry to trap sand and dust before wet mopping.

Why a flat mop?
It reaches under furniture, covers large smooth floors quickly and uses little water, so floors dry fast.

How should microfibre be washed?
At up to 60 °C without fabric softener or bleach, which clog and weaken the fibres. Wash it apart from cotton so it does not pick up lint, and dry it fully before storing.

Which floors suit it?
Tile, vinyl, marble, laminate and sealed wood. For heavy grease or rough concrete, use a cotton mop.
