Common questions

Ice machines
Ice machines are rated by daily production and bin storage; cube, half-cube and flake ice suit drinks, displays and fish counters.

How much ice does it make?
The daily production in its specifications, which falls in hot rooms; allow for UAE summer temperatures.

Does it need water and drainage?
Yes. It needs a water supply and a drain point near where it will stand; UAE water is hard, so a softener or filter protects it from scale.

How is it cleaned?
Sanitise the bin and descale the machine regularly as the maker directs.
