Common questions

What power supply does it need?
The maker rates it at 1000 W; confirm the supply with your electrician before installation.

How does it work?
The sand heats evenly around the cezve, so the coffee brews slowly and builds its foam without boiling over.

Does it need water and drainage?
No plumbing or drain is needed: each cezve is filled by hand.

How is it cared for?
Keep the sand dry and clean, top it up or replace it when it clumps, and wash the cezves after use.

What coffee does it use?
Turkish coffee ground powder-fine: use ready-ground Turkish coffee or a grinder with a Turkish setting.
