مكبس قهوة Puqpress M2 Integrated

A Puqpress M2 integrated tamper at 18.5 x 38 x 17 cm and 6.3 kg, drawing 72 W with a fixed 58.3 mm tamper diameter. Fixed rather than adjustable is the key difference from the M5 — simpler, with nothing to drift out of calibration, provided your baskets are 58.3 mm.

Who it suits

For bars running 58.3 mm baskets exclusively, where a fixed tamper removes an adjustment that could be knocked out of setting. The narrower 18.5 cm width suits a tight bar better than the M5. If you run mixed basket sizes or might change machines, the adjustable M5 is the safer choice.

Common questions

What if my baskets are not 58.3 mm?
Then this is the wrong model. The M2 is fixed at 58.3 mm; the M5 adjusts from 53 to 58.3 mm.

Why choose a fixed tamper?
Nothing to knock out of adjustment, and a simpler mechanism. It only works if your basket size is settled and unlikely to change.

How much bar space does it need?
18.5 cm wide, narrower than the M5, though deeper at 38 cm. Check both dimensions against your bar.

Does it replace a barista's judgement?
It standardises tamp pressure and level, which is the mechanical part. Dose, grind and distribution remain the barista's work.
