حاوية GN 1/6 من البولي بروبيلين Kapp

A Kapp polypropylene GN 1/6 pan measuring 17.6 x 16.2 cm, in 6.5, 10 and 15 cm depths. The 1/6 fraction is the workhorse of buffet counters and prep rails: six fit a full-size footprint, giving a wide selection without the constant refilling that 1/9 pans demand.

Who it suits

For buffet lines, sandwich stations and prep rails carrying a broad range in service quantities. It is the sensible step up when 1/9 pans empty too fast. Bulk storage still belongs in 1/2 or 1/1 pans in the walk-in, with 1/6 pans used to bring product to the line.

Common questions

What does the GN size mean?
Gastronorm is the international standard for kitchen container sizes. GN 1/1 is the full size at 530 x 325 mm, and every fraction divides that footprint, so pans and lids interchange across any gastronorm equipment regardless of brand. Depth is quoted separately, which is why the same fraction comes in several heights.

How many fit a full-size footprint?
Six, which gives a good balance between variety on the line and how often each needs refilling.

Which depth for a buffet?
100 mm is the usual buffet choice: enough volume to last a service without the product sitting too deep to serve neatly.

Can it go in a commercial dishwasher?
Yes, PP is dishwasher safe. Avoid stacking it under heavy items while still hot, as it can distort.

Is it suitable for the freezer?
PP tolerates freezing. Allow for expansion and do not fill liquids to the brim.
