Common questions

Floor and surface cleaning chemicals
Neutral cleaners are for daily mopping of sealed floors and surfaces; alkaline degreasers cut heavy soil; acid products remove limescale; strippers and polymer finishes are for periodic floor restoration. Use the mildest product that does the job, dilute it as directed, and rinse where the label says to.

How much do I dilute it?
The maker's dilution is 12.5%. Measure it rather than pouring by eye; more product does not clean better and leaves residue.

How is it used?
Dilute, spread, leave for the stated time, scrub with a machine and black or brown pad, pick up the slurry and rinse well before applying new finish.

Is it safe on marble?
No. Strong alkalis damage natural stone; use it on resilient floors only.

Do staff need gloves?
Wear gloves when handling the concentrate, and eye protection when decanting; the safety data sheet gives full handling details.
