Common questions

Mats at entrances, bars and kitchens
Entrance mats stop most of the sand and dirt carried in on shoes, which is most of what ends up on UAE floors. Rubber and hollow mats give grip and drainage behind bars and in wet kitchens; cotton and bath mats suit washrooms and guest rooms.

Where is it used?
Behind bars, in kitchens, at wash stations and entrances where floors get wet.

Why hollow mats?
Holes let water and spills drain through, keeping feet dry and giving grip.

How is it cleaned?
Hose it down or scrub with detergent and let it dry.
