Common questions
Choosing a commercial vacuum
Dry vacuums suit carpets and offices; wet-and-dry machines also pick up spills, water and slurry in kitchens, workshops and car parks. Backpack vacuums are fastest on stairs, cinemas, aircraft and offices; battery models work where cables are a trip risk. Bigger tanks mean fewer trips to empty; twin motors give more suction.
Why a backpack vacuum?
Carried on the back, it cleans stairs, cinema rows, aircraft cabins and offices quickly without dragging a canister.
Is it comfortable to wear?
The harness spreads the weight across hips and shoulders; adjust it for each user.
How is it maintained?
Follow the maker's manual: keep filters, hoses and brushes clean, check cables and seals before use, and have it serviced at the intervals it sets.
