Common questions
Kraft food boxes: what the coating does
Kraft board is unbleached paperboard with a natural brown look. A barrier or PE coating on the inside stops grease and moisture soaking through, so fried food, sauces and salads travel without marking the box. Fluted kraft adds stiffness and insulation for hot food.
Can it take chilled meals?
Yes.
Is it leak-proof?
It holds dressings and sauces for normal carrying.
Can it hold hot food?
Yes, for takeaway times.
