Common questions
How professionals clean glass
Wet the glass with an applicator loaded with diluted solution, then pull the squeegee across in overlapping strokes, wiping the blade after each pass. A scraper lifts paint and stickers, a microfibre cloth finishes the edges, and a telescopic pole reaches high glazing from the ground.
Is 45 cm the right size?
Up to 25 cm suits small panes, mirrors, shower screens and vehicles; 30 to 35 cm is the standard for windows and shop fronts; 45 cm and wider covers large glazing faster.
How do I avoid streaks?
Use only a little detergent, keep the rubber clean and sharp, overlap each stroke and wipe the blade after every pass.
Can it go on a pole?
Professional squeegees and applicators take a telescopic pole through the handle; see the poles in our Handles range.
